History of Film review

This past week we watched a movie in class called The History of Film. I thought it was really interesting to learn how the different Hollywood studios were founded. It was also cool to see how the different actors got their starts in the industry. I especially liked how the movie showed the different types of effects that can be used in films and the examples it gave of each. My favorite part was when the movie showed snapshots of each of the studios being built bit-by-bit. I'm glad we got to watch this movie and I hope we're able to watch more films like this before the school year is over.
